struggling?!?!?!?!

Postby pawneehawk1 » Sat Dec 30, 2006 1:10 pm

Just joined the forum today and have been reading with much curiosity and encouragement all of the posts from so many who sound like I feel. I'm 50, was diagnosed 3 yrs. ago with HCV, saw a speacialist right after diag. was told the therapy was the only way to go. My insurance would not cover it at the time so I just gave up on the idea. I have never felt to bad, ( i quit drinking immediatley upon diag. quit smoking a year ago) try to watch my diet and take milk thistle and ester C, B-150 and a multi. Other than those things I havenT worried to much. Until lately have been much more tired even tho my levels are not that high. Have talked with Dr. ( new since being diag.) and he is encouraging me to go ahead with the treatment. I am able to afford it financially now but since I have an appoint. with the speacialist ( jan. 24) it has got me a little worried. I found this forum today and the common thread seems to be DON'T DO IT. THe Mesosilver sounds like just what I might need. If anybody is out there, reply and let me know what my situation sounds like to you. I just need all of the input, advice and goodwill I can get my ears on right at the moment. Thanks for reading

Hi struggling,

Your deal sounds like you wrote it for me -- we seem to have a lot in common. I too am 50, diag. about 3 yrs. ago. My virus count was 400K then, 8 months ago 2.4 mil, this month 5.7 mil.

I did the recent blood test as a starting point to measure potential results from taking the mesosilver. I bought a gallon for about $200. I figure giving it 2 or 3 months of a go and then doing more blood work. Depending on that, I'll try a leading homeopathic doc in the NE as an alternative -- his people say he's had very good results with Hep C patients -- and then if the results aren't coming, lower viral counts, then I'll probably do the dreaded interferon as a last effort.

I haven't done the liver biopsy yet, I don't have symptoms, I found out by way of giving blood to the Red Cross.

What I have done so far is I have read and adhered to the book Sugar Busters, my doc said read it cover to cover so I did and have lost 45 lbs. in the last 11 months down now to 185 lbs at 5' 11", and I have a daily regiment of drinking 3 swallows of cold chlorophyll from my fridge mornings (it's green/healing), I mix Ultima Replenisher with Triple Greens (Purity Products re: TG), I take New Chapter's Supercritical Antioxidants, LiverForce, HostDefense, and Gingerforce, along with Licorice, Artichoke, Dandelion, Milk Thistle (two types of MT), whole food Vit C, whole food Alive with NO added Iron multivitamins (IRON is not good for we liver challenged), water soluble vitamin E AND at least 2 to 3 oz. of Mesosilver. At night, I repeat the morning's regiment minus the multivitamin, Triple Greens, and orange Ultima Replenisher. Oh, also I talk some Rhodiola and Ginseng during the day and a little in the evenings.

I hope this helps you. I know when I opened the blood results night before last and saw 5.7 million it was quite disturbing and scary to say the least. I have recently lost 2 friends that were diagnosed with liver cancer only months earlier, one month for one of them. I WANT TO LIVE. I have four children I want to see many years to come.

When I get my next blood results, I'll post it here. In the mean time, let me know if you have questions.

Also, I take Elavil for sleep; sleep is very important. Fortunately, I own my company so I don't have to deal with asking for time off, etc. SInce I went with Sugar Busters and have been on my regiment of supplements, I have been amazed just how good I feel and the stamina I have. However, the viruses are there and will probably destroy my liver if I don't get it under control. I don't want to have this hanging over my head.

Take care and God bless you, Happy New Year!
best regards,
Mike T.

I forgot to add...

I also drink fresh carrot juice with wheat-grass juice on the side as often as possible. I have a juicer but I choose to let Wild Oats do it for me usually. Things that carry oxygen into your system are very important. Fresh juice and green stuff do that. I also get my sugar fix by eating a lot of grapes.
best regards,
