Folliculitis

Folliculitis

I have folliculitis, which is a staph infection of the hair follicles. My doctor prescribed antibiotics. Although the condition is fairly resistant to antibiotics, the doctor told me I should just come back for another round of antibiotics if the condition flared up again. A more holistic physician I know suggested that I try colloidal silver, which has an anti-bacterial effect. I searched the Internet and found Mesosilver. I was taking four tablespoons a day and also spraying it directly on the scalp twice a day. Similar to the antibiotics, over the course of treatment (3-4 weeks) the folliculitis did clear up. Unfortunately, also like the antibiotics, the skin eruptions returned after I stopped using the Mesosilver. The good news is that Mesosilver has the exact same results as the antibiotics, but without some of the downsides of antibiotic treatment.
